Writing Fiction: The Joys of Teaching Fiction-Writing

It reminded me that writing doesn’t have to be a solitary craft. You can sit with friends over a cup of coffee or a beer and do some damn good writing without ever touching a keyboard. A few colleagues, wrestling with the same issues, can help one another overcome challenges: we finally have a few attentive readers, readers who can look at our work with fresher eyes than our own.
