Wait! A Sideways Sandman.

November 10, 2005

Sony Pictures Tuesday revealed the first shot of Thomas Haden Church as Flint Marko, aka Sandman, on the official “Spider-Man” Web site.

Church is coming off his Oscar-nominated role for Best Supporting Actor in the 2004 dramedy “Sideways.”

“That ’70s Show” star Topher Grace has also been cast as a villain in the film, pegged for a May 4, 2007, release.

The follow-up to the blockbusters “Spider-Man” and “Spider-Man 2″ will again star Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson and James Franco as Harry Osborne.

Based on the iconic comic book character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, “Spider-Man” will once again feature director Sam Raimi at the helm.

Wiki Redux

A while back, December 22, 2004 to be exact, I posted the results on my exhaustive search for a portable wiki for Windows–something that’ll fit on my USB device. I didn’t wanna ignore Mac users–I do so lust for a Mac of my own–but I just know sod all about the things.

I just caught this little tidbit on Lifehacker and thought I would revisit the subject.

If you’re like me, and since I am the only person reading this you are me, you take a buttload of notes on everything from the albino rhino to the zebulon the zymurgist zebra. Where do you put most of your notes? Me? I use notepad or some other utility. But recently, I have gotten interested in the “getting things done” craze. My interpretation of gtd requires that I make lists, and keep all my documentation (e.g. PIM, todo’s, etc.) in one spot. — Get You’re Wiki On

One pot cooking

One-pot cooking used to be the exclusive domain of bachelors, campers and college students just moved away from home. Meals were quick, simple and often right out of the box. The concept was great - just one pot to wash, but the meals could be quite uninspired.
Here are a few variations on the “one-pot” theme, which broaden the possibilities for creative cuisine, while maintaining the simplicity and energy savings of one-pot cooking.
